We took a train to Lvov and are now in Lvov! We are staying at a really nice apartment with two bedrooms. An apartment like the one we are staying at would sell for about 200,000 dollars!

Goodbye Kirodograv!

We left Kirodograv and are now in our apartment in Kiev! We are done working, now, we relax and tour the cities! What a fun ride, at one point there was three cars across when it was only a two car lane! I thought we were going to die! So, relaxation now.(: We take a train tommorow to Lvov.

We are packing to leave for Kirodograv tommorow. We are going to Kiev to start the tours and then going to a place called Lvov! So, we got a lot of work done today and will finish up early tommorow!

More Work...

Today we had our morning coffee and then went back to the church to work a lot more today. We accomplished a lot today and started to work on two more rooms in the church. The lady that Allen and I are housed with does not speak ANY english whatsoever so it is an interesting experience. Tommorow we are going to visit a school and I am going to play and sing the song "Lead Me To The Cross" for the classes.

Today we went out and bought all of the materials we need to complete what the church wants us to do. We got a lot of work done today. The building standards are so different over here, in fact, there are none! Its crazy.

I finnaly found an internet connection! So, we arrived at the JFK airport a little bit early, and had to wait for about an hour. We got our tickets fine and then sat around for another 3 hours until we had to get on our flight. We got on and took off at about 8:30 at night. We had a good flight, except for Allen. Allen got motion sickness and went to the bathroom to puke, and passed out on the floor. Then, a flight attendant asked me if Allen was drunk, and i accidentaly said yes!(I could not understand this guys accent!) But then Kenny told me what I had told the attendant, and we sorted things out. We landed in Ukraine with about three inches of snow on the runway, and went through customs. Steve and Oleg picked us up, and we headed out to our apartment for the night.We went out for dinner and had really good Ukranian food. Then we took a mini-tour of Ukraine and visited the mall. We had coffe at the mall and then went back to our apartment to sleep. We woke up and then we drove to Kirodagrav. We arrived in Kirodagrav and went to the church. We then went out for pizza and then we went to buy supplies for the church we are working on. Then we went back to the church and got our room assignments. Now, we are working on moving stuff out of the room we are working on and I am downloading skype.

Getting Ready!

Alright, this is the Ukraine blog. So, just last Sunday, Allen Lindeman said he had wanted to join us on the trip. We immediately rushed home and bought him a ticket. So now Josh Ferguson, Kenny Gardy,Allen Lindeman, and I are the team members. Everything is all working out good and were starting to pack. One last final meeting on Thursday to work out final details and then on Saturday we depart for Ukraine. Saturday we arrive in Ukraine and then go to our apartment in Kiev. We spend the night in Kiev and then have a 4 hour drive to Kirovgrad. When we get there we start work and then go to our lodging. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are all work days. Friday we also have an evening service at 7 PM Ukrainian time(11 AM our time). Saturday we do evangelism work until noonish(2 AM our time) and then continue our work. Sunday we have a morning service and then we will visit an orphanage and possibly work later in the day. Monday we do more evangelism and then possibly more work. After that, on Monday evening, we will go to Kiev and sleep there for the night. Tuesday we have a 1/2 day Kiev tour and the take a 6 hour train to a town called Lvov and spend the night there. Wednesday we are taking a tour of Lvov and then at 10 PM were taking a night train to Kiev. On Friday(New Years Eve) we are taking a day tour of Kiev and watching a fireworks show in the town center. On New Years Day, we are flying back to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City and then driving back home.
